
Shuswap Children’s Association is a child development centre providing a wide range of programs that support families and the developmental needs of their children. Services are available to help parents with the challenges of raising children with behaviour issues, developmental delays, or special needs.
Families can self-refer and the free services include:
Infant Development (birth to age 3)
Supported Child Development
Occupational Therapy (up to school entry)
Physiotherapy (up to school entry_)
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder KeyWorker (up to age 19)
Child Care Resource & Referral
Assistance for parents and childcare givers
Subsidy assistance
Toy library
Caregiver professional development and parent education
Family Support Worker (internal referrals only)
One program is a fee for service using Autism Funding:
The Nest Autism Services (up to age 6)
Some programs require referral through a social worker with Ministry of Children and Family Development, Children & Youth with Special Needs:

Other programs are open to all families for family connections and healthy child development:
