I am writing you today on behalf of Member of Parliament Mel Arnold to invite you to join a virtual tourism townhall focused on the tourism sector in the North Okanagan-Shuswap.
This engagement will be held on Thursday February 25, 2021 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Pacific Time.
The ongoing COVID-19 crisis has greatly impacted Canada’s tourism sector, especially here in the North Okanagan-Shuswap. As the federal representative for the North Okanagan- Shuswap, MP Arnold is inviting tourism stakeholders and the public to join this virtual townhall to identify challenges, needs and opportunities for recovery.
This meeting with be co-hosted by MP Tony Baldinelli who represents the Ontario riding of Niagara Falls and currently serves as the Official Opposition’s Special Advisor to the Leader on Tourism Recovery.
MP Arnold is seeking your input to inform his work and advocacy on behalf of the North Okanagan- Shuswap in Ottawa and we sincerely hope you or a representative from your organization will be able to join this engagement.
