Each year, the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce hosts the Business Excellence Awards to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses, organizations, and individuals who help make our community vibrant, resilient, and innovative.

This year’s awards will take place on November 28, 2025 at Song Sparrow Hall.

Nomination Period:

August 15 – September 19, 2025
Nominations can be submitted online for any of the 14 award categories.

General Nomination Criteria

To be eligible, the business or individual being nominated must meet at least one of the following criteria:

- Be a member of the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce

- Reside within the City of Salmon Arm

- Hold a City of Salmon Arm Business License

- Be employed by or operate a business located in Salmon Arm

Nominees may be businesses of any size, organizations, or individuals contributing meaningfully to the economic,

social, and cultural fabric of our region.

Judging Process

All nominations will be evaluated by a panel of community members who are independent from Chamber staff and board directors.

Judges will review each submission based on the specific judging criteria outlined for each category.

To ensure fairness and integrity, Chamber staff and board members are not involved in the scoring or selection of winners.

Category Placement Disclaimer

The Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to reassign a nominee to a different award category if the selection committee determines that the nomination better aligns with alternate category criteria. This ensures that each nomination is evaluated in the most appropriate context and gives all nominees the best opportunity for recognition.
