We work to influence government policy on behalf of our members, provide member businesses with the services they need to grow, and connect owners and entrepreneurs with the information, resources, and network they need to prosper.

Where can I find more information about the Chambers of Commerce group benefits plan?

What makes the Chamber the best advocate for my business?

The Chamber is a non-profit organization whose mandate includes advocating for our members. Through government relations strategies and relationship building at all levels of government, we’re able to influence government policy. We have represented local businesses across Canada since the Chamber was founded in 1908. Learn more about our advocacy work. 

How does the Chamber determine which issues to tackle?

We speak with our members to learn which issues are most pressing to them. This, along with surveys and feedback on our programs and services, helps to inform our focus.

Does the Chamber receive government funding?

No, our Chamber receives no funding from any level of government. As a non-profit, we rely on revenue generated by membership fees, event participation, corporate memberships, advertising, and non-dues revenue.
