Interested in serving on the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors?

Our AGM is on April 12th and our Nomination Committee is looking for people to join our Board of Directors for a 1 year term.

We are looking for Chamber of Commerce Members who are passionate about supporting businesses in our community. To ensure diversity across business sectors in Salmon Arm we are looking for the following businesses HOWEVER all members are welcome to apply:

✔Indigenous representation

✔Farm & Agriculture

✔Notary or Lawyer

✔Industrial or Manufacturing

We are also seeking a new President to join our team. As the President, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a passionate group of individuals dedicated to promoting and advocating for Salmon Arm businesses.

In this role, you will work closely with local business leaders to identify and address their needs and concerns and develop initiatives that promote the growth and success of Salmon Arm businesses. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with community organizations, local government, and industry leaders to foster a thriving business environment in Salmon Arm.

The Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization comprised of businesses, professionals, residents, and other community groups that work together to achieve a healthy economic and socio-economic environment that benefits the entire community. We work in partnership with the community and the, BC Chamber of Commerce.

Our Board of Directors is a governance board and they volunteer for a minimum of a one-year term. The Board is responsible for establishing strategic priorities for the Chamber in accordance with our vision and mission statements and in compliance with our Chamber Bylaws and the Federal Board of Trade Act.
