All of us at the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce are thinking of those affected by the fire situation in our community. We are pulling together resources that can be of use to community members and businesses. We will keep this page updated as we learn of new information.

Emergency Services & Fire Information:

  • Emergency Support Services (ESS) – Contact Shuswap ESS to register 250-833-3350

  • Evacuees are encouraged to register at the 5th Avenue Seniors Activity Center in Salmon Arm

Travel Advisories:

  • Travel restrictions for the southern Interior – with the exception of West Kelowna has been lifted. Non-essential travel to West Kelowna continuous to be prohibited for the purpose of staying in temporary accommodation.

  • Mamas for Mamas – Providing relief efforts, collecting donations of money and items. Located in Kelowna but delivering goods and services throughout Okanagan and Shuswap.

Emergency Funding:

  • Shuswap Community Foundation – Emergency Response Fund, supporting communities affected by wildfires. Provides vital assistance in the aftermath of this crisis at help residents recover and rebuild following the devastating wildfires.
