Every nominee must meet at least ONE of the following requirements along with the individual category criteria:
* Hold a business license with the City of Salmon Arm
* Have a registered charitable number or be a registered non-profit
* Have an active Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce Membership

* Community Spirit Award (RBC/Sterling Land Wealth Management)
* Member of the Year (Total Restoration)
* Salmon Arm Business of the Year (Arcade Accounting Inc)
* Non-Profit Organization of the Year
* Hospitality Business of the Year (Salmon Arm Economic Development Society)
* Trades Business of the Year
* Tech and Manufacturing Business of the Year (Salmon Arm Economic Development Society)
* Professional Services Business of the Year
* Recreation Services/Entertainment Business of the Year
* Health and Wellness Business of the Year
* Personal Service Industry Business of the Year
