The Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization comprised of businesses, processionals, residents, and other community groups that work together to achieve a healthy economic and socio-economic environment that benefits the entire community. The chamber is the Voice of the Business Community with the esteemed privilege of advocating on behalf of our members directly to elected government officials Municipally, Provincially and Federally. Every chamber member has a voice and the input of businesses is vital to enact and promote positive change.
BC Chamber Policy Development
The BC Chamber’s policy process is a grassroots process in which the membership endorses approximately 70 new policies every year at the Annual General Meeting. The breadth and diversity of the policies reflects the broad-based membership—in any given year they have policy recommendations for almost all B.C.’s provincial government ministries.
